St Mary's is part of the Benefice of Stamford St Mary and St Martin Stamford Baron. Both churches are in the Diocese of Lincoln. Our Diocesan is the Lord Bishop of Lincoln, the Rt Rev Dr John Saxbee, our Suffragan is the Bishop of Grantham, the Rt Rev Dr Tim Ellis.

Our Parish Priest is Fr Michael Ruff, lately Chaplain of Stamford School.

We are a dispersed community living in the surrounding towns and villages as well as Stamford itself. We are family friendly and all are welcome.

Worship at St Mary's is firmly rooted in the traditional Anglo Catholic style, drawing as it does on the rich heritage of the English Church and its Music. We have a permanent affiliation to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Log on to the Diocesan site at  http://www.lincoln.anglican.org

Inductive Hearing Loop System

We now have an inductive loop hearing system fitted within the church.
